Croatian International Airshow Varaždin 2006

Despite participation from neighboring countries Slovenia and Hungary the name of the event held on June 10 and 11 at Varaždin airfield probably was a little too ambitious. However, the MiG-21 display of the Croatian Air Force would have been a highlight of each international major airshow.

Special markings of the MiG-21UMD contrasted to the bright blue sky after clouds and rain dominated the hours before.

Unlike the MiG-21 the PC-9 of Krile Oluja operated from Varaždin.

Beside modern Mi-8MTV still a few Mi-8T remain in service with the Croatian Air Force.
