Den Vzdušných Sil Přerov (Czechia) 2004

Visitors of the airshow celebrating the Day of the Czech Air Force on May 29 in Přerov were surprised by a show programme full of stunning flying displays.

In the static display MiG-21MFN 2500 was shown wearing a special colour scheme.

In the morning two MiG-21MFN of the QRA from Čáslav made not less than six passes over the airfield, some of them rather low.

Part of the afternoon display were one MiG-21MFN and one MiG-21MF (seen here), both armed with R-60 missiles.

Take-off for the flight back home.

This Czech-built MiG-21F-13 remembers the service of the MiG-21 with the 1. lsp (training regiment) and 6. sbolp (fighter-bomber regiment) at Přerov.

What else could be seen ...
The Mi-17 ...

... and Mi-24 based at Přerov gave spirited displays. Beside this L-159 ALCA and L-39 were shown in the air.

Finally several interesting vehicles like this fire fighting tank were shown.

On the way back from Přerov ...
... there was the chance to have a look at the MiG-21F-13 at Kunovice museum ...

... and several MiG-21 at Vyškov museum. Beside a MiG-21R there are displayed a MiG-21M ...

... one of the rare MiG-21PFM of version 94N (nuclear weapon carrier), ...

... a MiG-21PF, ...

... a MiG-21U-400 ...

... and several MiG-21F-13.

The aircraft shown above carries a Czech made photo pod.
