Czech International Air Fest Brno-Tuřany 2005

Following the retirement of the Czech MiG-21s local attractions became a rare sight at Czech International Air Fest. Also due to a - compared to the recent years - very limited number of foreign aircraft the event was rather disappointing.

Much more interesting than the show itself was the arrival of the participants, among them one Super Galeb (seen here) and one Orao but unfortunately no MiG-21 from Serbia and Montenegro, ...

... two French Mirage F-1 and ...

... a Slovak MiG-29UB.

For the first time the Czech Air Force showed its new Mi-171 to the public.

The (one and only) highlight of the flying display: MiG-29 of the Russian Swifts team.
