After the not very successful visit to Dęblin, the author travelled on to the Czech International Air Fest at Hradec Králové. Although the bad weather of the summer of 1998 continued there, too, the MiG-21 was represented twice in the flying programme – with a Czech and a Slovak MiG-21MF, each in a grey and white special colour scheme. In addition, there was the last appearance of the Yugoslav aerobatic team "Leteće zvezde" with their G-4 Super Galeb before these were destroyed in the NATO bombing in 1999, and the public presentation of the L-159 ALCA.
