LOM PRAHA (Czech Republic) 2009

On January 19, 2009 the author made a company visit to LOM PRAHA, to have a look at the Czech Mi-24s prepared for delivery to Afghanistan.

At the time of the visit one helicopter was in the final phase of overhaul.

It already had been painted with the Afghan roundel.

Two helicopters were ready for transport. Before, three more had been flown to Afghanistan in early December.

LOM PRAHA shares Kbely airfield with Czech Air Force. Among others, Open Skies aircraft An-30 is based there.
