Unauthorised Use of Pictures

Seen positively, the use of pictures published on MiG-21.de in books, magazines and on other websites is a sign of appreciation. Nevertheless, it is more than annoying when pictures that were laboriously taken or obtained are used elsewhere without the consent of the author, often without even naming the source and always without payment. Yet exactly this has happened to many of the large-format pictures without watermark that were available on this website for years. Today the author is wiser as far as the protection of his copyright is concerned, but what is circulating on the web will probably stay there forever ...

Listed below are the unauthorised uses in print media and on selected websites that have come to the author's attention so far. The number of unauthorised uses on the web is so large that a complete list would go beyond the scope of this page. Nevertheless, the author is grateful for any reference to such cases.
